SPARY SCOOPERS LLC TERMS OF SERVICE
Sparky Scoopers LLC is an independently owned and operated business (“us,” “we” or “our”) that provides pet-waste removal services to residences, businesses and commercial properties, you agree to the following terms of service (“Terms”) that govern the sales and services provided by us (“Services”). By accepting the services, you agree to these Terms. The customer understands our ability to provide the Services can be dependent on weather, condition of yard, access to the yard, accessibility to service areas, and other unknown outside influences.
DOG WASTE REMOVAL SERVICE
Sparky Scoopers offers residential and commercial pet waste removal services. These services include Monthly Cleaning, Every Other Week Cleaning, Weekly Cleaning, and 2x Weekly Cleaning. All listed pricing is based on an area size of a 1/3 of an acre or less. Larger areas may have an additional charge.
ACCESSING YOUR YARD
The Customer understands that if Sparky Scoopers can’t access the area needed for cleaning due to locked or blocked gates or unsafe dogs in the yard, the service will be skipped and charges will still apply, because we will be required to scoop double our normal amount at your next visit. Your pet waste technician will knock at your door and make attempts to call you before skipping your yard. You will be notified via the customer portal as well. Sparky Scoopers suggests adding gate combinations or lock keys to your file to avoid locked gates. If the customer requests we come back on a different day, a $5 driving fee will be added to the customer’s bill.
DANGEROUS PET POLICY
Sparky Scoopers loves working with dogs! Our technicians have no issue working with your dog in the yard, provided they are friendly. If it is evident that your dog is aggressive or will not let us clean the yard, we will make attempts to contact you by knocking on the door, calling, and updating your online portal. If we are unable to clean due to a dangerous dog, you will still be charged for the visit because we will be required to scoop double our normal amount at your next visit.
WEATHER
Sparky Scoopers will work through the rain and cold if we can safely do so. The customer understands we cannot work through severe thunderstorms, high winds, extreme high or low temperatures, or flooding. Sparky Scoopers is a subscription service. We do not offer refunds for missed weeks due to the weather. Therefore, in these cases, we will skip service for that week and see you the following week. A refund will not be issued as we still must pick up all of the dog waste that would have accumulated from the prior week. If you need the area cleaned before your next scheduled service, please call us and we will do our best to accommodate you but cannot guarantee it. Additionally, we do not want to tear up your yard in any way. If it is muddy, we may skip your yard and wait until the next scheduled visit when things have dried out.
HOLIDAYS
Sparky Scoopers reserves the right to not provide services on the following holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. If your pick-up day falls on one of these days, we will skip service that day and do our best to pick up the following day. There are no refunds for a missed pick-up on these holidays. We still must do the work and pick up all of the waste accumulated from the week prior.
BILLING
Sparky Scoopers pre bills service(s) on the 1st of each month. If you sign up for services mid-month, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the month. You will then be billed on the 1st of each month thereafter. If your card is declined, we will pause your service(s) immediately until the issue has been resolved. If more than 30 days have passed since your last clean-up, a first time clean up fee will be applied. We will only pause service(s) for periods of 30 days. If service does not resume after the 30-day period, you will be removed from the schedule.
One Time Cleanings will be billed as soon as the service has been completed. Payment is due within 24 hours. If payment becomes more than 30 days late Sparky Scoopers will turn your account over to collections.
LEAVES, DEBRIS, AND TALL GRASS
We will always do our best to clean your yard the best that we can. We understand that maintaining your yard is a lot of work and it may not always be in the best shape. The customer understands that it can be very difficult to find dog waste in tall grass or in a yard full of leaves or other debris. If your grass is tall at the time of service, there may be some dog waste that is missed. We will be back on our next scheduled visit and will get
anything that was missed if yard maintenance is complete. If you find an excessive amount that we missed, please let us know as soon as possible at [email protected].
ADDITIONAL FEES
The following are items we may charge extra for:
- Deodorizing dog waste from decks/patios/sidewalks, if not selected in the package deal ($5/visit)
- Cleaning in rocks/pebbled areas ($5/visit)
- Waiting- If we have to wait more than 15 minutes to perform your cleaning ($5/visit)
- Late payment fee of $10 added to each bill that is late. Payment is due on the 1st of each month. Bill becomes late on the 5th of each month.
REVISIONS
Sparky Scoopers provides the above service(s) to you subject to the Terms, which may be amended from time to time without notice to you. Amendments will be effective upon our posting of such updated Terms to our website or by email. Your continued use of our services shall constitute acceptance of any changes to the Terms. Some of the provisions contained in these terms of use may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our site.
